National Archives. HO 47/6/91 1787 Mar 31 Certificate/memorial of John Heath on prisoners capitally convicted on the 'last' Midland Circuit (exceptions listed), but 'some favourable Circumstances' appeared on/after their trial and now recommended to mercy on the conditions set against their names: Warwickshire Lent Assizes at Warwick. James Anderson and John Plant, for burglary; Recommendation: 7 years transportation.

Northampton Mercury Northamptonshire, England 7 Apr 1787: At Warwick Assizes, which ended on Saturday last, 60 Prisoners took their Trials,...... James Anderson and John Plant, for a Burglary in the House of J. Brookes, in Birmingham. No ship found for John Plant. No mentions found, but there is a death listed for James Anderson at St. John's, Parramatta 25/11/1791.
