John Anderson was 22 years old on arrival in WA. John was single, a labourer, literate. 12/7/1854: TOL 14/11/1864: COF Comments: General servant, herdsman, labourer. ____________________ Convict No. 8473 -- John Anderson alias Hubbard had a Colonial Sentence at Perth and was sentenced to 7 years. 11/10/1865 The Inquirer and Commercial News, Perth, WA: John Anderson was indicted with stealing, on the 1st August last, a watch and chain, the property and from tbe person of Michael Brownrigg, at Newcastle, The prisoner pleaded not guilty. Verdict — Guilty; sentence — 7 years' penal servitude. 23/10/1871: TOL 7/11/1872: COF Comments: General servant, shepherd.
