John Anderson, for stealing two horses on the 16th of January last, the property of Robert Mills, of Rallyriggan. was also indicted for breaking the gaol and escaping therefrom; and Edward Flanagan  was indicted for assisting him in doing so. Anderson pleaded guilty to the offence breaking the gaol. Flanagan was discharged. Anderson was found guilty of stealing the horses ; to be transported for ten years. Statesman and Dublin Christian Record, 1 March 1842. John Anderson, for stealing a horse in the Parish of Bright; also for breaking out of the Killough blackhole. Edward Flynn, for aiding and assisting him in escaping from the blackhole, The Crown gave up Flynn's case, but prosecuted Anderson, who, after the evidence was heard, was sentenced to ten years’ transportation. Newry Telegraph, 1 Mar 1842.

Surgeon’s Report, Engaged in a conspiracy to take the vessel - Chained. Trade, Ploughman, Fm Labourer. Native place, Armagh. Remarks: No relations- Christie Moore my uncle by marriage.
