Perth Spring Circuit. Mary Anderson, for stealing ten shillings from a house in Dundee, accompanied by the usual aggravations, pleaded not guilty; but upon trial was found guilty, and sentenced to 7 years' transportation. North British Daily Mail, 26 April 1850.

There was two Mary Anderson on the "Emma Eugenia" that departed London on the 30 October 1850. Mary Anderson that was tried at Perth Court on the 23 April 1850 Convict Number was 262 and she married William lucas in Hobart Town and had a family and Mary died 04 October 1879 Middle Creek, Yackandandah , Victoria and is buried at Yackandandah Cemetery with William. No Headstone. Mary was born in Glasgow about 1829 no birth record has been found.
