Convict Notes

Found 2 possibles in the Scottish 1841 census transcripts, one with sister Jane and brother John (plus others) and one with brother John (plus others) Found many newspaper clippings however there seems to be another Mary Anderson operating after our Mary was transported so any one of these could be her, except definitely for the stealing of potatoes as it says seven years transportation. Mary does say she's a millworker though which ties in with the robbery with Patrick Adams. Also on her VDL records she said she was locked up for a Roll. Could this be the Egyptian flax ie a roll of cloth?? Many, many Mary Andersons in the IGI.

Theft of potatoes.
