On Thursday arrived from Calcutta, via Derwent, the ship Mary, Captain Ormon, with a various cargo. -Passengers from Calcutta, Captain Faithfull and Lieutenant Hamilton:-The Mary sailed from Calcutta the 23d of February, and left the Pilot the 1st of March. Old Bailey: ROBERT ANDERSON, Theft > theft from a specified place, 28th June 1820. Offence: Theft > theft from a specified place Verdict: Guilty Punishment: Death ROBERT ANDERSON was indicted for stealing, on the 28th of May, at St. John the Evangelist, Westminster, one watch, value 3 l.; one seal, value 2 s., and one bed-hook, value 1 s., the goods of Thomas Draper, in his dwelling-house. Prisoner's Defence. I was not out of the house that day, and as to the keys I took a shed for my business, and when I cleaned it out I found them - they were not in my wife's pocket. GUILTY - DEATH.
