Thomas Anderson, per Layton 3, F.S., tried at Hobart for begging, sentenced to 3 months, native of Galway, 63yrs, 5 feet 5 inches high, grey hair. Tasmania Police Gazette, 12th Jan 1872, p8. Prisoner discharged from HM Gaol & Houses of Correction, Hobart Town & Launceston during the week of the 20th July & the 24th July 1872. At Hobart Town, Thomas Anderson, per Layton 3, F.S., tried at Hobart on the 25 Jan 1872 for begging, served 6 months, native place Galway, age 64 years, 5 feet 5 inches high, grey hair, mole left cheek.
