William was said to be 22 years old on arrival in VDL, but also found a birthdate of 1798 for him so do not know which one is correct. Goad Report: Very bad character, his chief vices appear to be idleness and dishonesty. William was 5'5 3/4" tall, red hair, brown eyes, married. 1830 Muster: Assigned to Mr W B Thomas. 1832-35 Musters: Assigned to Mr Jocelyn Thomas Esq. 17/3/1832 Hobart Town Courier: On Tuesday William Anderson was acquitted of a charge of burglary in the house of Mr. Esekiel Harrison; The above is the only record that I know was this William Anderson - after that there were many William Andersons' so not easy to track him.
