Her full name is Ann Amelia Andrews. Parents Israel Andrews and Mary Lilly both born in 1760. Israel in Middlesex and Mary in Durham England.




Ann Amelia Andrews was tried for the crime of larceny from a person on 1st September, 1814 and was sentenced on on 30th November, 1814 at the Old Bailey, London, England.She was transported to Australia on board "Mary Ann1 (1) with 102 other female convicts. The ship departed England and arrived in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on 19th January,1816. The shipmaster was John R Arbuthnot. She was granted a ticket of leave (No. 1523) and a conditional pardon (No.459). Ar the time of her death she was "Free by Servitude" on 11th March, 1841. In 1828 Census she was residing at Winburndale, Kelso, Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia.
