Henry Andrews, born 1807 Preston, Kent; died of Senilis aged 79 years June 20th 1884 at Newtown Pauper Establishment Hobart Tasmania, occupation listed as sawyer. He was one of about 475 Swing Rioters, convicted for ARSON, MACHINE BREAKING, RECEIVING, or RIOTING, transported to Van Diemen's Land (VDL, now Tasmania) or New South Wales from 18 Counties of south east England 1831-33 Conduct record: Respectable Labouring man, single Free pardon 3rd February 1836 Description, Trade: Kitchen Gardener, Height w/out shoes: 5'3¾", Age: 23, Complexion: Pale, Head: M.S.
