John Andrews had a Colonial sentence – (see his conduct Record, in margin) : Comd. for trial for stg 5 dollars from Wm Ware. Criminal Court. (Monday Feb 15) John Andrews and William Cook stood convicted of besetting a poor man, William Ware, who had occasion in a public house to take out his money, and stripping him of his little pittance he possessed. Hobart Town Courier, 20 Feb 1830. Criminal Court. On Monday last, Feb. 15, sentences were passed on the following persons : Seven Years.- ... John Andrews, William Cook, ... Colonial Times, 19 Feb 1830.
