Convict Notes
William Andrews was tried with Thomas Wall and William Tooley on 26 October 1814. All three were given 21 years transportation sentences. Andrews and Wall were sent on the Baring and Tooley was sent on the Fanny. The crime was theft of a watch by a mob attack (of about 8 men). Andrews, appearing intoxicated swerved into the victim knocking him over. He dropped the watch which Wall prevented him reaching to recover it.
