9 September, 1853: He was admitted to Launceston Hospital (https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON33-1-108$init=CON33-1-108p6). 28 September, 1853: William Angell died in hospital at Launceston; no cause of death on this document (Tasmania, Australia, Convict Court and Selected Records, 1800-1899; Register; Registers of convict deaths, 1845-1874).

IN VDL: 31 July, 1852: On arrival, he was listed as convict #25789 single, 22 [when convicted], a farm labourer, able to read a little, Protestant (C of E), native place Hatfield.
