ANSTEY, Mary Ann - Convicted at Warwick in 1787, at 40 years old, of theft of two handkerchiefs from a shop. Died 1812 Tasmania. Married William Standley in 1791 on Norfolk Island. William arrived as a Private in the Royal Marines on the Sirius. Children Mary and Joseph. Mary and William settled in Tasmania.
