15/12/1885: found guilty in the HSC of 'Attempting Sodomy' and sentenced to 7 Years gaol. He is shown as being 78 years of age and his warrant number was 15991. He was a labourer; Protestant with one prior conviction and could only read. William died at the Campbell Street Gaol on 30 May 1886. (Cause unknown.)
