John could read and write. 1837: Assigned to A E Campbell, Maitland. 17/12/1840: TOL, Maitland 15/8/1843: COF 26/4/1842: Permission to marry Anne Gilligan, age 29 (per Margaret 1837) granted. John was 28. 1842: They married at Maitland/Hunter River area. No children found, no date of death found.
