Ann ARMSTRONG (also k/a MORGAN) was convicted at Perth, Scotland on 27 April 1847 for stealing a shawl. Previous convictions and bad gaol report. Sentenced to 7 yr transportation sentence. Sent to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the ship 'Cadet' arriving 2 Jan 1848. Married woman, 2 children. Protestant; aged 30 yrs; country servant.
