Hobart Town Gazette, 5 July 1823. Certificate obtained during the last week: John Armstrong- Pilot.




John Armstrong was 34 years old and his native place was Dublin. 11/8/1817: To VDL per Elizabeth Henrietta 22/4/1823: Had a TOL which was then revoked for misconduct. 12/9/1830: Sentence extended for 3 years for indecently exposing himself. 1830: Transported to Maria Island. 1832: Transported to Port Arthur. 1833: Free by Servitude. 1846: Died at Launceston.
