N.B. There are two Margaret Armstrong's on this voyage of the 'Blackfriar' to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) 1851. This Margaret is identifier 2. Convicted at Tyrone on 15/4/1850 for stealing clothes. 10yr sentence. Aged 30yrs; single, but 1 child - on board with her; laundress; black hair; dk blue eyes; freckles; can read; Protestant; native place - Co. Tyrone. Assignments of service in the Colony. Ticket of Leave 17/10/1854 Conditional Pardon 17/6/1856
