Samuel Armstrong was transported on the Henry Porcher, departing 1st Aug 1836 and arriving 15th Nov 1836 with 261 passengers.
1825 Journey. On Saturday morning (3 Dec) arrived from London and Dublin, the ship Henry Porcher, Captain John Thompson, with 175 male prisoners, having lost one man - the rest in good health. She sailed from London the 10th of July, and Dublin the 5th of August. The guard comprises a detachment of the 47th Regiment, under the orders of Captain Donaldson. The Surgeon Superintendent is Dr. CARTER, R. N. Sydney Gazette, 5 Dec 1825.

Convict Notes
2/7/1890 The Advertiser, Adeliade: Elizabeth Armstrong, Relict of the late Samuel Armstrong of Gawler, South Australia, died aged 70. An old colonist of 52 years. Samuel was alive in 1880 and a death is listed in 1887 on the SA BDM.
Samuel was born in "Blantyre Lanarkshire, Scotland". He must have emigrated to Canada where he was convicted of the crime of desertion (I am assuming) and was sent to Tasmania on the Henry Porcher in 1836. His first child with Elizabeth Dormer(Teague) was born in Campbell Town Tasmania in 1840 - they married in 1842 in the same town as above and made their way to South Australia in 1846 or so. Samuel died in Gawler (outside of Adelaide) South Australia in 1887. He is the 2nd Great Grandfather of my husband.
