1832: On arrival in VDL, Samuel Arnold was listed as 18, single and a ploughman. He was assigned to Samuel Guy at New Norfolk (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON27-1-5$init=CON27-1-5). 1835: Muster - He was assigned to Mr S Griffiths (see NSW and Tasmania, Australia Convict Musters, 1806-1849; Tasmania, 1835).


Samuel Arnold, 19, was admitted to the prison hulk Justitia at Woolwich on 8 September 1831, having been convicted on 11 August 1831 at Newark for stealing a silk handkerchief and two fowls (see UK, Prison Hulk Registers and Letter Books, 1802-1849).
