9-Aug-1851: Ticket of Leave cancelled for being absent from the district., 9 August 1851 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The undermentioned prisoners of the Crown being absent from their Districts, are illegally at large :- James Arthur, Bangalore, 22, London, laborer, 5 feet 10 1/4 inches, fair ruddy comp., light brown hair, hazel grey eyes, scar on each eyebrow, scar right side of forehead, nose long and inclining to the right side, anchor, cross, AC, and burnt mark inside lower left arm, two scars back of left thumb; from Ticket of Leave, Moreton Bay, since June, 1851. James Arthur was 19 years old when in the company of William McDonald, aged 30 and Thomas Everitt aged 21, stole 1 purse, value 6d., 1 sovereign, 6shillings and 1 groat the property of Elizabeth Watkins. Convict exiles - 30/4/1850 sailed from Spithead to Moreton Bay. 1850 TOL Moreton Bay 9/8/1851: TOL cancelled for being absent from the district. 21/4/1859: COF
