At Warwick assizes, … William Henshall, and Thomas Ashford, for counterfeiting dollars; … were found guilty. Bath Chronicle, 4 April 1805. Portsmouth Hulk records. HO 9-8_2. Received 13 prisoners from Warwick, 13 May 1805 Thomas Ashford, age 49, Coining, Tried at Warwick, 26 Mar 1805. Sentence, BS 7 years. Fortune.
