William Ashley's Granddaughter or Great Granddaughter, Married into Thomas Gallagher's Family (also a Comnvict, Piorneer of the Hawkesbury, NSW) and William Ashley, Pioneer of Parramatta, NSW. Married Margaret Smith from Ireland at Congretational Chuirch, Corner Palmer and Church Street, North Parramatta, NSW. Butcher Shop called "Ashley Brothers', on Church Street near Ross Street, North Parramatta, NSW. William Ashley did die in London on the 29th April, 1884. This Information is from the Parramatta Heritage Centre, Church Street, North Parramatta, NSW. Margaret Ashley died on 2nd October, 1896 in Grose Street, Parramatta, NSW, she was 75. Margaret was Buried in the Wesleyan Cemetery, Parramatta, 2151. NSW on the 4th October, 1896. SMH 7th October, 1896.
23/4/1846: Married Margaret Smith/listed as smyth on NSW BDM. They had about 6 children. (Margaret arrived per Canton 1841). William owned a butcher shop in Church Street, Parramatta.
