Cambridge Chronicle and Journal Cambridgeshire, England 19 Aug 1831 HUNTINGDON Richard Shead and William Asprey, for conveying instruments and materials into the gaol of the town Cambridge, to assist two persons confined for felony to to escape therefrom, seven years each. Richard Shead arrived VDL per Lord William Bentinck 1832. William Asprey was listed as 23 years old on arrival. Native Place: Cambridgeshire. Occupation: Coachman/postillion. William could read, was Protestant, single, 5'7½" tall, sallow complexion, brown hair, chestnut eyes, S, heart, CWA, woman's bust, and stag, on lower right arm, mermaid on lower left, ring on little finger of left hand. 1832: Assigned to Thomas M'Quoid, Sydney. 23/7/1838: COF - small diagonal scar on centre of forehead.
