Timothy Asquith was convicted on two counts of stealing cloth. The trial deals mainly with the theft of one to one and a half yards of woolen cloth, but the second count is for "a like offence" where the cloth is property of the King. There is considerable scuffle involved in the arrest. He was 26 at the time of his trial.
