Born abt 1811 Charge Utterg A Forged Order For the Delivery Goods Sentence 7 Yrs Conviction Date 15 Feb 1832 Conviction Place Demerara CON18-1-11 Image 98 No; 553. Trade; Cooper & Sailor or Tailor Aged; 19 years old 1836 - Alexander Assar, assigned to Mr. Clarke, was charged by, his master with having declared he would rather be in a chain-gang than reproved by him. He was indulged with 48 hours abstinence, and retired lodgings at Mr. Gunn's. 1837 - Bent's News and Tasmanian Three-Penny Register Sat 13 May 1837. Page 4 . Hobart Town Police Reports.
