WARWICK BOROUGH SESSIONS. These Sessions were held at the Court House, on Thursday, ... ...James Astill. aged 20, and Samuel Harrison, aged 1?, were found guilty stealing nine ducks, the property of Richard Warner, at Balkington. Both these juvenile offenders had been convicted together at previous Sessions, of similar offence, which the convictions were produced. In reply to Astill’s plea for mercy, the Chairman said, that in order to be merciful to them was in his power, Should sentence them to seven years' transportation : such sentence might probably save them from the gallows.—There was a second indictment against Astill, for stealing hen and chickens, the property of Mr. Thomas Power, of Attleborough but, after the above conviction,  was not deemed necessary to proceed with it.
