Convict Notes

This Edward Atkins did not marry Hannah mcleod and Emily Atkins who married my 4x great grandfather is not related to this Edward Atkins. My Edward was a convict and arrived on the Florentina in 1830. He did his 7 years and moved to the mid north of south australia.

The comment referring to Emily Atkins who married Edward Puddy does not belong to this Edward Atkins. Emily's father married Hannah McLeod in Adelaide, SA in 1843. Emily was the last of five sisters and two brothers born between 1843 and 1854 at Clare or Bundaleer in South Australia. We are currently trying to match Emily's father to another convict, Edwin Atkins, transported 1830 on the Florentia. Contact me noddynt at bigpond com for more info.
