National Archives. ADM 101/31/3. Date: 1822. Medical and surgical journal of the Guildford convict ship by James Mitchell, Surgeon and Superintendent for 9 March to 24 July 1822 during which time the said ship was employed in a voyage to New South Wales. Folio 15: Henry Atkins, aged 33, Convict; disease or hurt, 2 large buboes in his groin which appeared three days ago, and a large discharging ulcer on his leg. Put on sick list, 5 June 1822. Discharged cured, 11 June 1822.
