William Atkinson was 17 years old on arrival in NSW. 1/10/1828: COF 1841: Married Christiana Honeyman Affleck in Melbourne. They had 2 sons, 1842 James William Affleck Atkinson, who was a squatter at Reidy Creek and 1843: William Maitland Atkinson who married Amy Margaret Cheeseman. James became a Licenced Publican of the Keilor Inn and was the Government Pound Keeper in Oakleigh. 5/11/1852: James died and is buried at the Fawkner Cemetery in Melbourne.
