Joseph (24) was sentenced, with his sister Flora, for stealing a bushel of potatoes. He died on board the Prince George on 26/3/1837 before it reached NSW (PRO ADM101/60). Flora spent nearly a year on the 'Westmoreland' but was granted a free pardon 23/8/1837 before it left UK.
