Passengers — Fourteen free females, viz. Mary Manning, Martha Morron, Margaret Mahon, Margaret Sheedy, Mary Ann Nixon alias Welsh, Catherine Kiernan, Mary Cassock, Catherine Stanton, Johanna Neville, Mary Lyons alias Hynes, Maria Moran, Catherine O'Donnel, Margaret Kennedy, and Mary Sullivan, and twenty-six children; also twenty-three children belonging to the prisoners. Born 1807 Tipperary, Ireland Tried 2 March 1833, Crime Stealing a Rug Widowed with a child. Sent to Newcastle 17 September 1834 Application to marry Thomas Bye (Boy) 9 December 1834 at Newcastle, NSW with consent of the Governor they married 18 December 1834 at Christ Church, Newcastle, NSW. Certificate of Freedom 42/1479 dated 25 August 1842 Admitted to Newcastle Gaol 20 March 1835. Returned to husband 5 April. Charged with drunkeness and disorderly conduct. Sentenced to 14 days in solitary.
