Listed as Batkins on his Conduct Record. Robert Badkins was listed as 17 years old on arrival. Place of Birth: Birmingham. Occupation: Boy. Hulk Report: Can work very well at his needle, he is very cleanly in his person & apparel, but his general conduct for the last 12 months have been very bad. Father and Mother at Bromsgrove Street, Birmingham, a Smith. Robert was 5'1¾" tall, dark brown hair, brown eyes, Small Scar left cheek and on forehead corner left eye. Seems Robert Batkins became a Seaman - 2 departures to the Fisheries and whaling. 8/3/1836: Burial date - Robert Batkin died at the Hospital, Hobart - listed as 26 years old and an object of charity. Also listed as having a COF.
