The Proceedings of the Old Bailey Born; 1775. RICHARD BAILEY. Theft; petty larceny (to 1827). 15th September 1790. 663. RICHARD BAILEY was indicted for stealing, on the 27th of August , one linen handkerchief, value 8 d. the property of Charles Hamilton .................. PRISONER's DEFENCE. I was walking through Smithfield, and saw the handkerchief lying, and I picked it up; I have no witnesses. GUILTY , (aged 15.) Tried by the London Jury before Mr. RECORDER Confirm ship to NSW - Active
