Prisoner, Colin Bain discharged from H M Gaol Hobart, per Emily 1, tried at Hobart on 9th Mar 1871, for illegally pawning, received 6 months, native of London, age 32 years, 5 feet 7 inches high, dark brown hair, F.C., remainder sentence remitted. Tasmania Police Gazette, 15th Sept 1871, p150.

Colins trade was a watchmaker. He died at the Invalid Depot New Town 30\4\1903.
