Enoch Baker was last week committed to the County Gaol, Ipswich, by John Edgar Rust, Esq. charged with breaking into the workshop of Mr. Benj. Borrett, of Haughley, and stealing thereout divers articles. Bury and Norwich Post, 21 Aug 1816. At Ipswich Quarter Sessions, Enoch Baker, convicted of stealing goods out of the workshop of Mr. B. Borret, of Haughley, was sentenced to 7 years' transportation. Bury and Norwich Post, 23 Oct 1816. On Wednesday last, the following convicts were removed from the County Gaol in this town, to be put board the Laurel Hulk, at Portsmouth: Isaac Sheppard, Enoch Baker, and Israel Lett, under sentence of transportation for the term of seven years each.
