James Baker was listed as 22 years old on arrival - he was transported for 'Stealing 9 ducks and 3 fowls, the property of Mr. Huggins. Goal Report: 2nd conviction, Idle man parents poor. James was 5'2½" tall, fresh complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes, single. 21/10/1845: Recommended for a CP for the Australian Colonies. 31/10/1846: Approved. 19/7/1850: Passenger from Launceston to Melbourne per 'Shamrock' - Status: Conditional Pardon. 2/1/1852: Free Certificate.
