…  The eight following were capitally convicted and received sentence of Death to be recorded, viz.   Richard Baker, alias Jones, aged 25, labourer, for stealing at the parish of  Inkpen, in Berks, a grey gelding, value ,£20, the property of William Stratton, the elder, of Inkpen aforesaid, farmer. Sussex Advertiser, 26 Dec 1825.

Gargles and Saline Laxatives were alone necessary ....
