In his last notation, he was with Mr. Reibey at Longford (north of Colony not too far from Launceston). Indent for Thomas does indicate that he was tried with his son Abraham Baker who also was transported on the same ship. Thomas and son Abraham Baker (1823-1846) were convicted in 1841 and sent to Australia, leaving his wife Mary Evans Baker (1798-1869) to raise their 8 other surviving children. She converted to the Mormon Church in 1856 and migrated to Utah in 1862.
