Convict Notes
Henry Ballantine (spelt Ballantyne by his descendants) became a Police Constable and was instrumental in capturing the mutineers from the American whaling vessel "The Junior" after they came ashore south of Eden, NSW and made their way to Merimbula, NSW in 1857-1858.
