Family connections for Edward (Banks) are: BANKS Edward (Banks aka Holt) was born about 1780. He was tried at Chester Sessions of Peace, sentenced to 14years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 12 7 1806 after a voyage of 6months on FORTUNE. He Mary (Doyle her fifth marriage) emancipiston 16 11 1810 at St Johns CofE Parramatta [however this Mary (Doyle) is recorded as born about 1786: therefore may be misplaced here]; He is recorded in 1828 as Free by Servitude chair maker Sussex St Sydney. He died <1830. [Some details taken from this Website] Mary (Doyle) was born in 1775. She associated firstly (1of5) with a fellow & produced 1child. She was tried at Carlow Ireland, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict with her daughter on 7 7 1802 after a journey of 7months on ATLAS. She associated secondly with James (Rogers). She had a third (3of5) relationship with David (Spencer). She married fourthly (4of5) Edward (Griffith) on 5 5 1806 at St Johns CofE Parramatta [however this Mary (Doyle) is recorded as born about 1784: therefore may be misplaced here. She is recorded with Edward (Banks) in 1828 in Sydney. She died in 1830 age55 mother of 8known children & was buried on 22 11 1830 at St Johns CofE Parramatta.
