GOVERNMENT NOTICE, Colonial Secretary's Office, No. 9. Jan. 2I, 1829. The periods for which the undermentioned persons were transported, having expired, certificates have been granted to them accordingly. Esther Barker, 66, Lord Sidmouth, (3) Hobart Town Gazette, 24 Jan 1829.

Tasmanian Records. Convict Conduct Record: https://libraries.tas.gov.au/Digital/CON40-1-1/CON40-1-1P97 No 66. Esther Barker. Per Lord Sidmouth, Feb 1823. Tried Stafford 14 Feb 1822, 7 years. Several incidents of being drunk, or absent from her master. Last entry on her record: Jan 12 1832, (F.S, (Free by servitude) Culpably and negligently harboring Julia George, a convict on the 10th November in her house & premises at Hobart Town. Staffordshire Epiphany Sessions. Esther Barker, receiving stolen goods, 7 yrs. Staffordshire Advertiser, 26 Jan 1822. Tuesday last, Esther Barker, under sentence of transportation for seven years, was removed from our county gaol, and placed on board the Lord Sidmouth, at Woolwich, previous to her sailing to New South Wales.   Staffordshire Advertiser, 31 Aug 1822.
