Transported for Larceny, Gaol report , Not known. Transpd. Before. Hulk report, Married, 1 child. Stated this offence, Stealing saltpetre, prosecutor W.P. Evans, transported before for stealing trowsers in 1826, sentenced 7 years, served 5 years at the Justicia, Woolwich; I am not married, I have I child by a woman named Sarah Reeves, she came to me in Gaol. Single. (written sideways) Surgeon’s Report: Conduct always good, attentive at school. Oct 30 1837, (Cook hospital) Insolence, 6 days cell on B & W, & retd. to his duty. April 23 1838. Wardsman Col. Hospital/ Drunk on Sat when absent from the hospital on duty. Soly. Conft on B & W for 48 hours. Sept 4 1838, Wardsman hospital/ Gross misconduct in allowing a woman in his charge to go into a public house and get drunk. Hard labour T. wheel of 10 days & sleeping in cell at night. Jan 14 1839, Constable/ Drunk while having 3 prisoners in charge. 12 months hard labor in chains & recommended to be dismissed the police. Approved. Town Gang & conduct to be reported. Vide Lt Govn’s decision, 18 Jany 1839. July 4 1839, Ch. Gang. Disobedience of orders, Repd. & discharged in consequence of former good conduct. Dec 17 1839. Ch. Gang/ misconduct, 7 days Soly. Conft on B & W. Accidentally drowned in the Lake River, 26 January 1840. Vide Memo of P.
