Henry Barkins was 20 years old when indicted for Stealing from his Master, Dennis Settle, a surgical instrument maker, 4 pairs of forceps, value 2s. Although working for a surgical instrument maker, Henry had only been employed for 3 weeks and seemed more of an errand boy than anything else. The only reference to Henry was his TOL in 1840 at Port Macquarie.
