ASSIZES.—The business of these assizes commenced, at the Crown bar, on Monday last . ... Subjoined will be found the names and offences of those criminals who were either capitally convicted or sentenced to transportation. ... TRANSPORTATION. - ... William Barlow and William Docker, for having in their possession forged Bank of England notes, knowing them to be counterfeit; and  Edw. Hastings and James Lugg, charged with uttering forged bank notes (permitted to plead guilty to the minor charge of having them in their possession) for fourteen years.
