Per "Glatton", 1803 1817 Feb 14 - Permitted to have banns published for marriage to Ann Emerson; appears as Aaron Moses (Reel 6005; 4/3495 p.510) 1820 May 12 - Re his appointment as constable in Sydney (Reel 6007; 4/3502 p.23) 1820 May 20 - Appointed constable (Reel 6050; 4/1747 pp.1-4) 1822 May 18; 1824 Jun 14 - On list of persons receiving an assigned convict (Fiche 3290; 4/4570D pp.28, 47) 1823 Mar - Ordinary constable. On list of constables in Sydney from Sep 1820 to Mar 1823 (Reel 6056; 4/1764 p.64) 1824 c.Jul - On account of rents received for assigned convict tradesmen for the three quarters ending 30 Jun 1824 (Reel 6061; 4/1779 p.173a) It appears that he married Ann Emmerson, who arrived on Frances and Eliza 1815. The NSW 1828 census shows Aaron Barnett and his wife Ann Barnett at Botany, resident at Mary (Ripley?)'s farm, at Saltpan Creek . Aron Barnett, age 44, (Glatton 1803 Life), labourer, Jew. Ann Barnett 40 Free by Servitude, (Frances Elizer 1815,7 yrs) wife, protestant. ( Frances and Eliza) William Neail 63 FS. Alberman 7yrs lab , protestant ( Albermarle 1791??) Nickols Burke 60 FS Bencolen the 1st 1811 7 yrs blacksmith, catholic (Bencoolen 1819) William Willson 34 FS Eserbeller 7 yrs weaver protestant (Isabella 1818) Jhon smith 20 GS.
