1832: On arrival in VDL, he was 35, and a ploughman. Strangely, there is no Conduct Record for him - just the Description Record. However, from the records of other men sent on board the KS Forbes for the same crime, they were convicted for demolishing the house of William Cross in Queen Square, Bristol. 1832: Muster - Patrick Barnett was assigned to Mr A Maynes (see NSW and Tasmania, Australia Convict Musters, 1806-1849; Tasmania; List of convicts (incomplete), 1832). 1835: Muster- listed as assigned to Mr A McGuire. 1841: Muster - listed as assigned to Mr A Smith Esq, Campbell Town. 1845: His name is on a list of prisoners who have been granted a Conditional Pardon (see Colonial Times, Tue 7 Jan 1845, p2: Government Notice).
