THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE OLD BAILEY THOMAS BARNETT. THOMAS RILEY. Theft; grand larceny (to 1827). 7th May 1788. 359. THOMAS BARNETT and THOMAS RILEY were indicted for stealing, on the 6th of May , twenty yards of silk ribbon, value 5 s. the property of Joseph Weeden . The prisoners were seen drawing the ribbon through the window. BOTH GUILTY . Transported for seven years . Tried by the first Middlesex Jury before Mr. Justice ASHURST.
