James Barratt was convicted at Kerry of Burglary and Abduction Aug 1816 - Life sentence. Transported on 'Minerva' departing England 22 Dec 1817, arriving van Diemen's Land 7 June 1818. Convict no. 3247. Colonial Offence: 06/05/1820 Perjury - 50 lashes and forfeit Ticket of Leave. Conditional Pardon no. 159 14 June 1830. Free Pardon no. 382 Nov 1838.
